in this magestic location

Established in 1957, Caroline Furnace offers year round Retreat facilities and an overnight Summer Camp program.

The main camp is located in Fort Valley on the Massanutten Mountain in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Our Retreat facilities include a Cabin Village with 8 cabins, a main lodge, meeting building and bathhouse. Our 3-season Sukkah Village is great for Scouts, Father/Son Campouts and a variety of other groups who prefer to "rough it." Signal Knob is our adult-only retreat center in Strasburg, VA (about an hour and a half from the Metro DC area).

 

 

Signal Knob Retreat Center in
Strasburg is for adults only. It is closer to the Metro area, provides a bit more
comfort, but is still quiet and away.
Perfect for groups of 20 or less.

Moyer Lodge our dining facility

Moyer Lodge is our main dining hall it is
complete with a commercial kitchen
and seating for up to 100 guests.

be opened to one large or 3 smaller rooms.

The lodge is surrounded by 8 heated cabins (with bunkbeds), and our new meeting and
and bathhouse facilities.

Signal Knob Retreat Center in Strasburg VA

a Sukkah (Hebrew for House of God)
Our Sukkah Village is for a more rustic retreat. We have 6 Sukkahs (wood ceiling and floor with. half screen walls) with 8 cots in each. Scouts, hiking groups and men's retreats love this area.
