Rental Policies

Please make everyone in your group aware of these policies

1. You are requested to be conservative with utilities and firewood.

2. Do not pick flowers, dig vegetation, or carry away fossils. Take pictures - leave only footprints!

3. The following clean-up should be completed in order to retain your full deposit

a. Empty the trash cans you used and take to dumpster.
b. Clean kitchen areas used and return all items to storage area
c. Return furniture you may have moved to original place.
d. Report any damage to camp personnel before leaving.
e. Put out campfires completely.
f. Clean and sweep the buildings
g. Remove any sign you were here.

4. Firewood is provided by the camp. Do not cut trees!

5. Open fires and/ or camp fires are allowed only in designated fire rings.
You will completely extinguish All Fires before leaving. Never Leave a Fire unattended.

6. No climbing on buildings, bridges, banisters, rails or any other permanent objects.

7. NO SMOKING in camp buildings.

8. No alcoholic beverages or illicit drug usage or possession permitted on the camp at any time.

9. No hunting on camp property, therefore no need for guns, rifles, bows, etc. which are also not allowed.

10. Catch and release fishing is permitted to registered campers only.

11. No motorized or recreational vehicles of any kind allowed off the roads or beyond posted parking areas.

12. Swimming is permitted only under the supervision of a certified Lifeguard, whose credentials have  been cleared by the management of this camp.

13. Use for canoes and paddle boats is permitted only with Adult supervision,
and only after this Adult supervisor has completed a CFLC safety orientation, and then at your own liability

14. The camp does not furnish any linens (except at Signal Knob).

15. The privilege of paying for damages or breakage beyond normal wear and tear is understood.

16. No furniture or fixtures may be removed from the buildings.

17. You are responsible for the behavior, actions, and consequences of all in your group.

18. All Vehicles are to be parked in the appropriate parking lot.

19. Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp and Retreat Center, Inc. reserves the right to preview all literature with our name on it.

20. There will be no refunds for those required to leave the camp for disobeying the rules.

21. Quiet time 11:00 p.m. till 7:30 a.m.

22. Payment is expected within 14 days of your stay.

23. Any interference in summer camp, other groups, or programs is reason for eviction.

24. NO PETS allowed on the property at any time.
