Shenandoah River
Canoe Trip
entering grades 7-12
June 15-20
cost $360
Grab a paddle and head down the Shenandoah River for a week long trek.
This trip covers about 40 miles of river between Luray and Front Royal (the canoe capital of Virginia).
You camp along the riverside and learn to cook your meals over the fire. This is one of the favorite camps that campers return to year after year for the experience of being away from everything and on your own. Dry bags to carry your gear are provided, along with tents, PFDs and your food and water for the week. All you need is some changes of clothes and a sleeping bag (preferably a polyester one, if it gets wet, it drys faster). Bring some shoes to get wet and you're ready to go.
Don't forget a flashlight! |
