Confirmation students... Come join the fun!

Confirmation is a Lutheran tradition.  A chance for youth to step back and look at the pieces of their faith and see the image that is their faith story. Confirmation is the process of becoming an adult member of your congregation. 

We offer two weeks of Confirmation Camp; the first is led by a group of pastors from the Virginia Synod and the second is led by a group of pastors from the Metro DC Synod. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, individually or with your confirmation class, please contact Antia Smallin at the camp office for more detailed information. Both camps are open to all students who are currently in a confirmation program in their own congregation.

In addition to conversations about faith, church, what it means to be Lutheran, there will also be a lot of camp stuff. You will have opportunities to go hiking, creekwalking, campfires, boating, swimming and time to hang out in God's beautiful creation, so don't forget to bring shoes you can hike in and shoes that can get wet. Confirmation campers stay in our Cabin Village which has twin size bunk beds, and a half bath in each cabin. Showers are in the nearby bathhouse.
