You will have the opportunity to work in the horse ring and practice controlling your horse using your voice, reins and legs. horse campers leaving for the trail

Horse campers will return to camp most afternoons to enjoy time to share Bible study, water activities, crafts, night games, worship and other camp fun.

getting the bit set

We are fortunate to have the Fort Valley Stable located less than a mile from camp. The staff there provide guides, instruction and helmets for all riders to wear.

All you need to bring is a willingness to get up on the horse (a pair of long pants and solid shoes help, too!).

Because the stable is so close to camp, Horse campers also get to participate in a variety of camp activities, including worship, lake time, night recreation, campfires and a lot more.
