Potomac Pedal & Paddle
July 1-6
cost $440

Tow path along the Potomac

The Potomac River trip returns this year as P3, Potomac Pedal and Paddle. Pack up everything you need for the week and fit it into a canoe. We'll provide the tents, food and dry bag to pack your stuff, you just have to help ferry it all down river. camping out beside the riverAfter a few days paddling, we'll give your arms a break and rent some bikes. We base camp for the bike tour, so you don't have to carry as much gear along AND the tow path follows right beside the river, so there aren't really any hills or rough terrain that you'll have to manage. It's a beautiful path with lots of history to share.

Senior high campers ready to head out for the weekThese campers will leave Monday for the Potomac River and return to camp on Friday in time to shower, repack and head home. A great adventure along the majestic Potomac River.

(Staff In Training)
silly campers and counselors

Are you interested in working at Caroline Furnace? Wonder what it would be like to be a counselor? Staff In Training is a two week commitment; the first week is June 24-29. During this week you will receive training and have opportunities to practice leading activities and spend time working as a group.

Join us for a second week and spend time shadowing a counselor and helping them with activites, you will also be part of the general duty crew for part of the week learning behind the scenes what it takes to keep the camp running.
