June 27- July 2

Roll up you sleeves and get ready to help!

Be a VOLUNTEER! This camp travels to southwest Virginia, and stays at Hungry Mother Lutheran Camp. From here we volunteer with a local organization whose misstion is to provide assistance to those in need. We will paint, put up siding, clear out debris, build ramps or clear brush. Whatever needs doing, we'll be there to work together to get the job done.

There will be time in the afternoons to enjoy other activies including swimming, games, crafts and maybe even competitive napping.

Join us for this rewarding opportunity to learn some new skills, build new relationships and provide much needed help.

Senior Challenge
July 11-16

rappelling down the cliff

All of our Senior High camps have been week long adventures off camp and we have had a number of senior high campers express how they miss being at camp, so this year we are offering the Senior Challenge. A high adventure camp that takes advantage of the exciting things you can do right here in the George Washington National Forest.

Each day will bring a new adventure; Mountain Biking over forest trails, rappelling off a rock face, exploring a natural cave and canoeing down the Shenandoah River. We have professional guides leading the biking, rappelling and caving trips who will also provide instruction and safety equipment.

In addition to the day's adventure, campers will participate in their own Bible Studies and will be on site to participate in morning worship, evening campfires and night games. Housing will be in the Sukkah Village, up to 7 in a Sukkah with a same sex counselor in the same Sukkah.

Potomac River
Peddle and Paddle

July 18-23

paddle power

Enjoy the week as you travel down the Potomac River in a canoe and along the tow path on a bike, camping out along the way. This trip leaves from camp on Monday morning and returns in time for closing on Friday.

We will provide the canoes, bikes and equipment, just pack your bags and come for a relaxing week away from the hustle and bustle in the midst of history, beauty and nature. You might even see a bald eagle or two!
