2009 Schedule

Come Away this and join Summer Celebration as we hit the road to Southwest Virginia. We have been working with the Virginia Synod staff, particularly Dave Delaney, to create a summertime service opportunity for Senior High youth. This camp offers an opportunity for Senior High students to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in somone's life.

This summer we will be heading to help out in some of the most poverty struck areas of Virginia. We will be painting, repairing, clearing and whatever else needs to be done. We will be staying at our sister camp, Hungry Mother (below is a picture of a platform tent at Hungry Mother).

 

 

Pastor Wayne Shelor will be leading this trip along with counselors and, of course, the campers. We will gather at Caroline Furnace on Sunday, June 21st and then travel by camp bus to Hungry Mother. There will be songs to sing, devotions and prayers.

This event is open to all senior high students, including those who have just graduated, so join the fun and bring a friend!
