Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp was a special place for David Hangen.

It was a big part of his life having attended summer camp at Caroline Furnace for many years as a youth, and numerous retreats throughout his adult life.

David was there before each cabin had a bathroom and he always joked about the sound of the furnaces heating up. David loved working on the property helping with repairs and renovations.

In his memory, Judi and Jesse have established a memorial fund to help continue renovation of the cabins.
