The wish list is a way for you to help the camp maintain its infrastructure or enhance our program with the items that we just don’t have the budget for. You can get a group together, hold a fundraiser, or purchase the item directly. Here are some of the things we could really use around the camp:
- A used FULL size pick up truck to help with all the various jobs around camp from moving firewood to hauling canoes.
- 10 tall orange traffic cones ($70) for using during games, directing parking, protecting areas under repair, etc
- Variable speed reciprocating saw ($100) We are always busy building new things around camp and making repairs to things like stairs, fences, ball boxes and many, many more.
- Box Blade – attaches to tractor for road repair - ($650) With all the ups and downs of living in the mountains, the gravel on our roads tends to move around a lot -especially in the rain.
- Adobe Illustrator Software ($575 new or a used copy) for use designing graphics for marketing, camp store items and proofing designs.
- Cabin Window replacement (12 windows @ $150 each – total $1800)
The cabins were build in the late 1960s and new windows will help to keep the heat in during the winter and open and shut more easily during the warmer months.
