Your Support provides a gift that provides for generations . . . .
There are several ways to support the ministry at
Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp.
The Capital Appeal began in the spring of 2006 with the theme for the next 50 years. Throughout 2007,
Caroline Furnace has been celebrating it's golden anniversary. On Sunday, October 7, 2007 a diverse group of Caroline Furnace supporters gathered for a service of Thanksgiving for the 50 years and to break ground for two new buildings that are part of the Capital Appeal plan.
Construction for two new buildings that are part of the Capital Appeal plan has begun! Click here to see pictures.
The wish list is an opportunity for you to look in your garage and send a lonely tool, vehicle, or other item
to be part of the ministry at Caroline Furnace. You can also purchase one of the items, or
send the funds to purchase a specific item. Recently we have been fortunate to receive a AED defibulator, a new dishwasher and range for Signal Knob, a used clothes dryer and a sofa and loveseat. We give great thanks to all those who donated these items. Your gifts will bless this ministry in many ways. THANK YOU!
Work Weekends are annual spring and fall events at camp, join us and see just how many projects can be accomplished
when we work together..... it will amaze you! The Fall Work Weekend is scheduled for October 10-12, 2008... mark your calenard now and plan to join us.
Our annual fund is our day to day expenses. Without our annual supporters, we would not continue to be able to offer
the wonderful ministry that is Caroline Furnace. Being a non profit organization, we strive to keep our costs down
for those groups and individuals that come to meet God in God's creation.
The specialty funds are just that, special. The Moyer endowment is a fund to send kids to camp that need financial
assistance, the Guinn Endowment is a special fund set up in the name of one of our former canoe campers. ........ the St. John Spring Chapel fund was established by the Virginia Synod Men in Mission who moved an entire church
building from Singer's Glen, VA to Caroline Furnace. It was a 10 year effort that culminated in the dedication of
the building on May 21, 2006.
