Would you like to volunteer? We want you!

Caroline Furnace depends on our volunteers. There are many ways you can be involved!

Mission Week

Offered June 21-26 for rising 7th Graders - Graduated Seniors

Mission Trip/work week is a combination mission trip and a week at camp. Youth get to work in teams with youth from other churches to complete mission projects ranging from building or fixing fences and cabins to helping in the kitchen. Youth will also work on teamwork and leadership building skills throughout the week. In the evenings, groups will come together for an evening campfire and worship. On Wednesday, groups will get the afternoon off to do a fun adventure or trip with their churches.

Adult leaders should reach out to Lindsay at summercamp@carolinefurnace.org before registering.

Summer Camp Volunteer Opportunities

During Summer Camp, a volunteer is someone who feels called to serve others for one week at camp. Volunteers must apply and agree to a background check. Volunteers live in the Farmhouse for the week and take part in meals and activities with the campers.

Chaplain

Caroline Furnace volunteer chaplains each serve one week of summer camp. They lead campers and staff in morning worship and evening prayer, lead evening worship in St. John's Chapel on Wednesday, and provide spiritual guidance and support to the entire community of staff and campers. We appreciate the pastors, seminarians, and lay leaders who feel called to serve camp in this role.

Support Team

Our volunteer team supports the summer program through a variety of tasks including kitchen duty, maintenance, activity set up and leadership, transporting campers, and much more.
