Growing Sacred Community in Creation

Last summer, Patrick attended confirmation camp at Caroline Furnace and developed a fascination with the pieces of slag found around camp. Intrigued by their hidden beauty, Patrick took several pieces home, polished them in his rock tumbler, and recently sent them back to camp along with a collection of other rocks to share with future campers. In his note, Patrick reflected on how camp connected him more deeply with nature and helped him discover the beauty of God's creation
