Monica is excited to come back to Caroline Furnace as the Director of Programs!
Her connection with Caroline Furnace began when she was a counselor in 2012. Monica grew up attending and working at many different camps all along the east coast. She has over ten years of experience in Camp and Retreat Ministries, and additional experience in the care and education of children. She earned her BA in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education from Brevard College. Monica loves to share her love of the outdoors with others and is looking forward to serving camp by creating programs for summer camp and retreat groups. She enjoys being outside in her hammock with her husband, Tommy, reading a good book, and throwing the ball for their dog River.
