You may arrive anytime after 6pm on Friday. We provide meals Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast and lodging in the Cabin Village. Most of the work happens on Saturday, with Sunday typically reserved for finishing up high priority projects.
If you'd like to come early on Friday to get started, call or email us to work out details!
If you can only stay for the day on Saturday, we would still love to have you!
If you plan to bring a large group, please contact us beforehand for specialized projects and for group registration.
If you have experience in skilled labor, we would love to put your talents to their best use! Call or email us to ask about possible projects.
Paul Bunyan Weekend
Paul Bunyan Weekend is a smaller Work Weekend dedicated to tree removal in high usage areas. We split into crews on Saturday to:
Drop trees that are dead, dying or growing too close to structures
Split and stack firewood from the trees that are cut
Clear downed trees from trails
Restock firewood racks at campfire circles
Chip limbs and spread mulch
Spring and Fall Work Weekends may involve any number of projects, to include construction (sheds, docks, low ropes elements, bridges, facility updates), interior work (hanging drywall, painting, refinishing floors), trail maintenance, brush clearing, and basic repairs. It varies from season to season based upon current needs and crew size.
Keep checking this page for a list of Work Weekend projects and materials needed!
